Spinach & Ricotta cheese grilled sandwich
Spinach & Ricotta cheese grilled sandwich can be perfect breakfast or evening snack its packed full of protein & vitamins.
Ingredients:
1. Bread 4 slices
2. Ricotta cream cheese 3 to 4 tablespoon
3. Mozzarella cheese ¼ cup
4. Spinach finely chopped & parboiled ½ cup
5. Spreadable butter 1 ½ tablespoon
6. Chilli flakes ½ teaspoon (optional)
7. Nutmeg powder ¼ teaspoon
8. Pepper powder ½ teaspoon
9. Salt according to taste
Directions:
• In a mixing bowl, add spinach, ricotta cheese, nutmeg powder, chilli flakes, pepper powder & salt mix well & keep it aside.
• Spread one side of each slice of bread with spreadable butter.
• Turn on the Sandwich grill, place 2 bread slices butter side facing down add the spinach & ricotta mixture on top of the bread & add mozzarella cheese, place the other 2 bread slices butter side facing up.
• Close the sandwich grill cook until it turns golden brown.
• Serve the sandwiches hot with tomato sauce.
Notes: Adding chilli flakes is optional, also if you don't have the sandwich grill you can do this on the pan on a stove over the medium heat.
