Roasting is one of the most common ways to cook bell peppers; this cooking method makes it more digestible, keeping its flavour intact.
There are different ways to roast peppers: in a pan, in the oven or grilled. Let's see how to do.
Heat a non-stick frying pan and lay the washed and dried peppers on it. Flip them over occasionally until brown. It will take about 20 minutes.
Put the warm pepper in a food plastic bag, close it and let the pepper sit for about 15 minutes, to peel it more easily.
Then place the pepper on a cutting board and
remove the skin in this way.
Cut the pepper lengthwise and remove the white veins and the seeds with kitchen paper.
When the pepper is ready, you can cut it as desired: as julienne, into strips or pieces.
The bell peppers can be oven roasted, too. In this case, lay them on a baking dish and bake at 480°F (250°C), flipping them over occasionally.
