The Incredible Birds & Wildlife of Eastern Australia with Birding Ecotours
Join Birding Ecotours guide and tour leader Andrew Walker as he takes us on a virtual tour birding our way around the eastern side of the endemic-filled continent-country of Australia, picking up some interesting wildlife sightings along the way. Andrew will take us to the island state of Tasmania followed by the mainland states of Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland as we make our way north, up the eastern side of the country. We will see a wide range of seabirds and landbirds (many of which are endemic) from a range of intriguing-sounding habitats such as mallee, mulga, and gibber, as well as more familiar-sounding rainforest habitat (but nothing in Australia is quite how you imagine - it's even better!). We will also explore the Great Southern Ocean and the Great Barrier Reef, two highly contrasting and exciting places for birders and those interested in wildlife as a whole.
