Why Australia's wildlife is disappearing and what we can do about it
From vast red deserts to lush tropical rainforests, Australia contains a jaw-dropping array of natural landscapes that are home to thousands of plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth. Yet our species are disappearing at a terrifying rate. Bush Heritage is an independent not-for-profit that buys and manages land, and partners with Indigenous people, to protect Australia’s irreplaceable landscapes and precious native species forever. Since 1991, Bush Heritage has applied a practical, science and evidence-based approach to conserving Australia’s environment and unique biodiversity. Working with others means that Bush Heritage is able to have an even greater impact: creating healthier, more resilient ecosystems for the benefit of people and our native species.
