Birds and Wildlife of North and West Australia with Birding Ecotours
Join Andy Walker of Birding Ecotours as he takes us on a bird-filled adventure covering over 2,500 miles from Darwin in the Top End of the Northern Territory to Perth in the southwest of Western Australia going via Alice Springs in the Red Center (including Uluru/Ayers Rock). We will drop into some amazing birding areas along the route looking for the range-restricted specialties along the way, including Kakadu National Park, a World Heritage site. We should find some of the prettiest birds in all of Australia along the way, such as Gouldian Finch, Spinifex Pigeon, and Blue-breasted Fairywren. A range of interesting mammals could also make an appearance and we will also seek out several of the toughest birds in all of Australia.
