How to make charcoal for barbecue at home yourself
Learn how to make your own cooking charcoal for your barbeque.

Basically, to make charcoal, wood is heated in the absence of oxygen. This drives off the water and impurities from the wood, leaving behind carbon. This charcoal is then fabulous to cook with, as it is a very clean source of heat, and the the fats and oils which drip onto it, turn into a beautiful aroma which flavours the meat above it!
