In this video, I will be making a very Healthy Puli Kanji. This is a recipe which is well known to many Sri Lankan people and is given when people are usually sick. This recipe is the exact recipe which I learnt from my my mother many years ago. I have added prawns to this Puli Kanji, to add more flavour but you don't have to add it. I really love eating this and it I recommend everyone to try it . Enjoy making and watching the Healthy Puli Kanji :)

Boiled red matta rice : 1 cup
Moringa leaves - 1 handful
Roasted urid gota - ¼ cup
Shallots - 10
Garlic cloves - 5
Salt
Turmeric powder
Red chilli flakes
Some tamarind
Black pepper
Coconut milk - 1 cup (235ml)
Some prawns
