Gluten Free, Vegan Rice & Lentil Bread | Whole Protein Recipe
I'm so excited to share this recipe with you, I eat this bread literally every day. The flavor is amazing and it's quick to prepare.
Three simple ingredients:
Rice
Lentils
Salt to taste
I make the batter about once a week, one batch creates 16 servings! Then it only takes 15 minutes to steam and ta da; a whole protein bread ready to eat. Of course it's also vegan and gluten free, two huge pluses.
My partner and I have named this bread 'Bridli' because we drew inspiration from the traditional Indian rice bread 'Idli'. We love to experiment in the kitchen, and with trial and error we've created this unique recipe. I hope you enjoy!
