How to make Clear Jelly Wagashi for Star festival Tanabata
i made Japanese traditional sweets Wagashi for Star festival "Tanabata"!
clear jelly is called Kingyokukan.there are many kind of Kinghokukan sweets in Japan.we can buy them at Wagashi shop especially in summer.
ingredients(about 4.3in.×5.5in. Kanten mold)
10g Japanese agar "Kanten"
600ml water
300g granulated sugar
3tbsps starch syrup
red sweet bean paste "koshian" (each 15g)
bamboo leaf(for cooking)
edible gold
