DIY: How to make a Clear Vinyl PVC Traveler's Notebook Cover | Scrapcraftastic

I used 3/16 size eyelets in this video, but I think the 1/8" eyelets work better for this project.

Here is how I determine what size to cut the vinyl to make a traveler's notebook cover.

1. Double the width of the insert you would like to use.
2. Add 1". This allow for 1/2" margin on each cover of the TN.
3. Add 1" for the spine. If you would like a wider spine, adjust accordingly.
4. Add .5" to the height of the insert you would like to use.

The gold elastic I used in this video came from Joann. It appears to be out of stock on their website.
