First project on the Joiners Bench.. WOODEN HOLDFASTs!
I just finished @rexkruegers English Joiner's Workbench and I love it! So I decided to make a couple of wooden holdfast's to see how they worked on the new workbench. My dog holes are 3/4" holes.. so I used Pask Makes design which uses 3/4" dowels. I made it out of oak so it could hold up to the pounding from the mallet. I really like the finished product and they actually work really well! I find excuses to clamp things to the surface of my workbench now because it is very satisfying to use my new wooden holdfast's. Thanks for watching!
