How to make a wooden name plate: Woodworking project
Welcome to Wood 'n' Stuff w/ Steve French!
The evening before I left to go to Woodworking in America in Winston-Salem, N.C., I decided I needed a name plate I could wear around the show. This name plate took me approx. 3 hours and 15 minutes to make, from start to finish. It's made of 1/4" thick mahogany (of some variety) and finished with clear spray lacquer.
Articles like this are easier to make than they appear. This video will show you how it's done. The idea can be adapted for many uses.
I'm now on Facebook. Check me out. Be my friend: https://www.facebook.com/WoodnStuffwithSteveFrench
