Family of 4 Transitioning to a More Sustainable Life in Southern France
Today I am excited to introduce you to a beautiful family in a beautiful home in Southern France. They moved here just a few years ago and are working to live a more sustainable lifestyle. At home they are expanding their garden, adding on rainwater harvesting containers and transitioning to heating their home with wood they harvest from the woods near their property. They built their house to function within the land that they are a part of and because of this they don't need air conditioning, even in the hot summers! They practice thriftiness by buying quality items that last. Christophe was so proud to show show me that he'd been wearing some of his clothes for 20 years! They are already doing a lot (which you'll learn more about in the video), but in the coming years they’ll be doing a lot more to live sustainably. They are a wonderful example for families that want to live in comfort and some luxury but do a lot more to live in a better harmony with our world.
I stayed with them for 5 weeks during the lockdown and we shared a wonderful time.
Now it's time for you to share the experience I had through this tour of their home!
Thank you so much for hosting me Christophe, Lysiane, Marie and Brieuc @Cagnus
