Discover the real challenges experienced by York students and the real skills needed to succeed in university studies.

In this video, first-year students discuss what they learned about learning skills needed to succeed in university. It consists of three sections: time management, reading and note-taking, and critical thinking. Students discuss the challenges they experienced as well as provide tips to overcome these challenges, including how to manage their time wisely, juggling academic and social life, reading techniques and the importance of critical thinking skills.
