In July 2018 I was invited to the Teton Science Schools in Wyoming, along with about 50 other teachers from the United States (I was the only teacher from Canada!) to learn about National Geographic's "Geo Inquiry Process" - as part of my training, I learned how to lead students through the process. I took what I learned back to my elementary school this fall, and have been trialing several projects with them. One that worked well was a "litter cleanup" on the school grounds.
