Guest of honour, Sir David Attenborough's speech on the climate and biodiversity crisis was met with a standing ovation at the LI Awards 2019, which took place on 28 November 2019 at the Troxy in London.

Sir David received the Landscape Institute Medal for Lifetime Achievement and became an Honorary LI Fellow at the prestigious event, which marked the 90th birthday of the Institute.
