How do you get an interview with Sir David? You ask - by mail.

While working for Wellcome, I reached out to the broadcasting giant to ask if he'd allow me to interview him about a few of the big problems facing humanity.

On a day I'll never forget, I stood in his home, in the library and watched him descend from the second floor in a glass elevator - what a moment. My hero, there. And yes, he was a perfect gentleman.
