Angle Plate casting Pattern Build and how to do wood foundry pattern making: this is very detailed build of how to make a foundry pattern making castings this one is a angle plate and a follower board to aid in molding the iron castings . i will be making four iron castings and ill be trading two of them to randy richards for the machine work. the foundry i work with uses green sand and is willing to do one off castings very handy for us hobbyists. i recommend others learn to build wooden patterns for metal casting its a fun a useful trade for restoring old iron so lets do some casting pattern making.
