First-Ever Xbox Gaming Tournament Hosted at 2018 Special Olympics USA Games
On July 2, 2018 in Seattle, Washington, Xbox hosted the first-ever Xbox Gaming Tournament at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games. Eight Unified Teams from all over the U.S. competed in “Forza Motorsport 7” until a winning team was crowned: Tim Dempsey and Nicholas Rasmussen of Team Dempsey from Washington, who were awarded custom edition Xbox One X consoles. The tournament was created to help empower all gamers to participate in the joy of competition and esports.
