Tesla, Panasonic Expand Partnership, Look To Incorporate Solar Panels Into Tesla's Cars
Panasonic's relationship with Tesla is going to include more than car batteries.
Panasonic announced Tuesday it's investing in Tesla's solar production facility in Buffalo, N.Y.
The investment, more than $256 million, helps Tesla build photovoltaic cells, which will be used to incorporate solar panels into existing products, and the company's solar roof lines.
