In the second episode of my French Cooking Made Easy series, I show you how to make your very own Homemade New Orleans Inspired Beignets.

Disney's Princess & the Frog, is one of my favourite Disney movies and every time I watch Tiana making those 'maaaan catching beignets' - as Lottie would say - I feel so inspired to make up a fresh batch for myself...and to share of course! :p

Ingredients/Shopping List:
1 ¼ tsp Active Dry Yeast
¼ Cup of Sugar
½ Cup of Warm Water
½ Cup of Evaporated Milk
1 Egg
4 Cups of Plain or All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp of Vanilla Extract
1 tsp of Salt
2 tbsp of Shortening
Honey
Powdered Sugar
