Upgrading My Old Mac Pro Tower - Episode 1
What's up YouTube fam? Today I extend my brief upgrading from my past vlog to it's own video sharing my process of installing USB 3.0 and an old 1TB PC hard drive into my new old Mac Pro Tower. Although the website states the Inateck 3.0 USB card doesn't support Mac OS above Yosemite it does seem like it working faster anyway, and my Mac is registering it as 3.0 USB, so I don't know....
It was awesome to pull the old 1TB hard drive from a PC I fried at least 4 years ago and give it new life in my Mac Pro tower. I think I am going to love this machine for a long time because I can upgrade pieces from time to time like my good ol PC days. I missed being able to play with my computer like this and not have to give in and buy something new every two years. Now I can say I'm all in on Apple computers! :) Now....if this thing doesn't work with this year's Mac OS update come October....I may be a little disappointed.
