The lumber I used was a strip of Mahogany that was 1.5" x .75" about 4' long.

the Stretcher was cut 2.5" longer then the blade so that there was a 1" tenon on eather end and .25" from eather end of the blade to both beams.

Both beams were cut from what was left from the stick of Mahogany. The beams were about 14" long this would give about 7" between the blade and stretcher.

the Blade was made from a Band-saw blade. it was cut to length with ten-snips.

The connecting hardware came from an old hack saw. and was easily re-purposed for this Turning Saw.

All of the shaping was done with a chisel, Spoke Shave, Rasps, and files.

It was finished with boiled linseed oil and past wax.
