Using money from making and selling farm tables I was able to buy a house with cash, that means no banks, lenders, payments or interest. In short the house is mine. I'll apply the same to the renovation, all cash as I can afford it. In the end, while a little slower, my total cost will be significantly lower. At no time, regardless of circumstances or unforeseen events would I loose the house due to financial "hiccups". In our world of I want it now, easy, fast, big and perfect, this does not compute, but for me I wanted a way that made me comfortable and that I understood, basically...if I don't have money for it, I can't have it. I've done this with several houses and it's worked so far. The ultimate goal with this house is to renovate and sell it. I wish to keep the style of the house in tact but make changes that I know the modern market will appreciate. Through adjusting a few walls, modeling the kitchens and bathrooms and over all cleaning the place up I hope to make a lot of money when selling the house. A lot of people try to hide from this and give every reason but the real reason for doing things but it really comes down to simple terms. You either want to do something or you don't. This is just something I like doing and it has the potential of making a lot of money. I'm a regular guy making and selling furniture. How am I able to buy houses CASH!!!!!! By staying busy and not wasting money....do that and it will ad up and when an opportunity pops up you can pounce. When you really think about what you want it life, most will find that it takes money to achieve....whether it just be time to yourself or with family............or larger goals that need large sums of money. Most of these goals simply require a mindset of willingness to sacrifice temporary pleasures for the sake of long term fulfillment. All this may seem like big talk, but I lead a simple life and try my best to stay moving forward. I'm not just doing it for myself, but also my wife and future family and those who may rely on me. In our time of overly PC communication, some may be put off by this kind of talk but I think a little more of it could be afforded. In the end all this is....is hard work and sticking to it. I wish you all luck in your endevours, if I can help in anyway with advice, tips or just encouragement let me know. I'm looking forward to this rest of this renovation and showing you as I go. Thanks for watching.
