How to Create a 2D Liquid Reveal in Cinema 4D
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to create a liquid-y 2D reveal or transition wipe in Cinema 4D. First I'll go over how I used the Sketch Materials Adjustment options to create a stylized print offset look to my Sketch & Toon object. Next, I'll cover how I used a 3D gradient to create the 2D wipe transition as well as going over a little Xpresso to be able to control the gradient wipe with a pair of Nulls. Finally, I will briefly go over how I used Sketch & Toon Opacity options to fade on strokes over time. If you have any questions, be sure to hit me in the comments below! Have fun and if you make something with this technique, be sure to share it! Enjoy!
