Indian Hockey legend Balbir Singh Senior died on 25 May , 2020. In This video we are talking about his Missing Memorabilia. In 1985 Balbir donated his Medals, Photographs and a Blazer worn by him in 1956 Melbourne Olympics. Sports Authority Of India (SAI) took these things for proposed National Museum Of Sports. The Museum never came out of the Files of SAI and Sports Ministry. Later, Before 2012 London Olympics, International Olympic Committee selected Balbir as on of the 16 Icons of the games. He was the only Indian and Hockey player among these 16 Icons. They also asked him to provide his Blazer of 1956 Melbourne Olympics. After this, he Asked SAI about the Blazer. SAI denied having any blazer at first place. After few years they accepted that they had the blazer but failed to provide any details about the same.
