Go west, young designers: With the countdown to the big winner announcement fast approaching, in this week’s episode, the ten CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists set their sights on L.A., where the Chateau Marmont becomes the setting for a runway show styled by Vogue, featuring five of each competitors’ looks. “A part of me feels like I should be somewhere steaming clothes and organizing shoes,” says Wes Gordon, enjoying a rare chance to sit in the front row rather than prep backstage. In the courtyard of the storied hotel, with Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Aniston among the A-list audience, it’s certainly understandable if he and his fellow finalists appear to forget—for a moment—that they're in league for one of the top prizes in the industry.
