Abraham Hicks - What If You Were Born Ugly?
Some people got the short end of the stick when it comes to physical appearances. Is this what their Source (or soul) intended it to be while they're being born? Do this matter at all? What is the value of this?
This topic may be trivial to others, but to some this is a very important matter. In fact, a number of depressive episodes are caused by this.
Our own Source has intended, before we were even born, our physical appearance throughout this entire lifetime.
As we live in our society, we start to absorb paradigms and belief systems that labels what is beautiful and what is not. For instance, there are societies that see thin, slender women as sexy, while others prefer curvaceous ones.
Ugliness is actually just a perception, influenced by our upbringing and other paradigms we were exposed to and accepted as truth.
Have you noticed that there are short men who are more appealing than some men who are tall? There are women who strike most people as beautiful but they don't have the perfect shape of nose or lips.
This is because they authentically see themselves as beautiful in the first place. A confident person is handsome or beautiful to others regardless of his or her physical appearance.....And true confidence, not the ego-driven version, is alignment to Source.
If you see yourself as ugly, the first thing you need to do to get out of this wrong viewpoint is to accept that we're all emanations of the same Source energy. Look at yourself in the mirror and appreciate the appearance that you have, without comparing yourself to others. Appreciate how beautiful your eyes are, allowing you to see. Be grateful for your nose, allowing you breathe.
As you become grateful to how you look (and not how you look compared to others), it'll be easier for you to give more love to yourself. Eventually, you'd be surprised how you start to become confident and start to experience being treated as the beautiful person that you are.
Watch now and listen to how Abraham sheds a clear light on this discussion in this clip.
