Verizon highlighted several use cases for AR, VR and MR using its 5G network at Mobile World Congress Americas in September.

What we’re showing here is a spatial audio demo where were doing all the computation it takes to have an immersive 360 audio experience while doing most of the processing off the device.

So there’s 100 instruments in the room you’re going to be in and you can wander around the room and as you get closer to more instruments you’ll hear those instruments get louder or quieter as you move around the space.

You can get the best percussion maybe in one spot then you have the flutes and horns in another spot.

So this is studio director, it’s a project-based application so all data is stored in project and you can have multiple projects.

You use this QR code to join the session it’s really easy and once you’re ready I just click this button and the model goes from your network to the whole lenses.

So you can see the boat over here and we are synchronized so whatever I do you will be able to see. So now I rotate the model I make it bigger.

So now you are on the boat you’re in mixed reality so you don’t have to stay at the same point of space, you can walk around you can look around.

To have the best experience you need 150-200 megabits for each device.

You want to have the best connectivity you can reach and 5G from Verizon is one of the best options.
