How to Make Cheesy Garlic Bread!! Classic Garlic Bread Recipe
Learn how to make cheesy garlic bread! Soft, warm, garlicy, cheesy and stringy...this is so easy yet so delicious! The perfect side to a big bowl of spaghetti or a slice of lasagna. See the comments if you wish to use fresh garlic. Enjoy!
What you'll need:
2 Italian style hoagie buns (or half a large French bread loaf)
1/4 cup (56g) butter, softened
1/8 tsp salt (omit if using salted butter)
1/8 tsp dried garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
4 ounces (113g) mozzarella cheese
Combine butter, salt, garlic powder, parsley, minced garlic, oil and parmesan in a small bowl. Spread onto open faces of hoagie buns. Place onto a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 400*F oven for 5 minutes. When done, top with shredded mozzarella cheese and place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted, bubbly and golden. Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy!
