I bought this Stanley Bailey N° 5 plane at a fleamarket in Antwerp and restored it to working order so I can use it in an upcoming project.
I cleaned off the grime, removed the rust, sanded the sole and sides - kind of - flat and sharpened the blade. The blade has some pitting caused by the rust, but it will do for the time being.
