For many years, Honda has been a little cool towards electric vehicles -- and while there have been some projects internally (such as the one we featured on this channel concerning vehicle to grid) Honda's corporate focus has always been geared towards hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
But now, in Europe at least, Honda has revised that strategy, changing its electrification goals and singing from a different hymn sheet.
In the U.S. too, Honda's attitude toward electric vehicles has undergone a dramatic shift, and it's now one of four automakers standing up to the Federal Government in support of California's rights to set its own fuel economy targets and emissions regulations.
So has Honda's hydrogen plans become electric ones instead? For now, it seems so.
