Come along for a garden tour and see what we've got growing and going on our organic farm in Seattle Washington in mid-July! Learn about how we use Back to Eden and Permaculture gardening techniques to grow a huge variety of organic vegetables and practice organic pest control without the use of pesticides and get an update on our new raised beds too! Gardening is a joy for me, an opportunity to create order from chaos and to learn about our soil and our land in the most intimate way. Watching seeds develop and grow and become things I can eat fresh or cook in our farm kitchen is possibly one of the most exciting things in my life! In our organic garden, you'll find just about every fruit and vegetable you've ever heard of, and likely a few you haven't. We grow food for ourselves to eat fresh and preserve, can, freeze, dry and ferment to enjoy all year long. We have plenty for ourselves, plenty for the animals, plenty to donate, and plenty to use in trade and bater. A few highlights are cabbage, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, kale, salad greens, broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, beets, chard, mustard, ghost peppers, artichokes, lemongrass, garlic, onions, amaranth, three sisters corn, squash, beans, and so much more.
I'm Anne of All Trades. In Seattle, I have a woodworking, blacksmithing and fabrication shop, a selection of furry friends, and an organic farm. This channel is aimed at sharing my passion for working with my hands, being a good steward of the earth, and preserving antiquated skills and traditions.
