Karate is one of the most known martial arts styles in general. Whether it’s from movies like the Karate Kid or just being a popular choice among other fictional characters, we see a lot of it, even if the generic attacks are just deemed as karate without following the proper techniques. Fighting games, of course, have many karate masters, that vary from accurately portraying the style to taking various liberties when giving characters a moveset. I’ll be looking at the characters that famously portray the style and maybe even add their own twists to it.
