How Much Does it Cost to Remodel a Kitchen?
I flip a lot of houses and buy many rentals. My costs are lower than what the costs for most people would be, but I go over what my costs are on this kitchen, and what someone else's might be if they are not a house flipper.

I also go over it all in a video as well: https://youtu.be/qMQR0v9cako
This kitchen cost us about $6,800 to remodel including:
Cabinets: $2,000
Counters: $250
Appliances: $950
Flooring: $200
Sink/Faucet: $350
Backsplash: $400
Paint: $500
Misc parts: $150
Labor: $2,000
Total: $6,800
For someone else to remodel their kitchen the materials will be more expensive depending on if they have a Home Depot pro account or not. The labor could be more expensive depending on the contractor as well. You can always go crazy with high-end cabinets or appliances too.
I see people spending $50,000 on a kitchen and know it could have been done so much cheaper and look just about the same. Even if you put granite in, or get upgraded cabinets, you should be able to make a very nice kitchen for $20,000 or much less with some planning.
