How To RV With Dogs
Welcome to our How-To Series. In this video series, we will explain the many how-tos of Airstream Living. From full-time RVing, to travel, to living in a tiny space we will share what we have learned from living this lifestyle. We encourage you to comment below with your own advice on this topic, as well as any other How-Tos you would like to see.
This week's topic is How To RV With Dogs. Our two dogs are a big part of our lives and they travel full-time with us in our Airstream. A few tips when it comes to dogs and RVing. Make sure they are up to date on all their shots and that you have proof printed in case you are asked for it by campgrounds. If you are traveling full-time you may also want to switch vets to something like Petsmart which you can access anywhere. Also be sure your dog's tags have up-to-date contact information on them in case they get lost while on the road.
Moving days can be tough on our pups. To make things easier set up a routine for them and maybe even end those days with a treat. Also make sure to make your RV feel like home, even if it's only your weekend retreat. Lastly, if you are boondocking make sure to take your pets and the weather into consideration before making plans.
