It’s not every day you can hike out to a point in Oregon with whales swimming beside of you. But it does happen!

Cape Lookout State Park near Oceanside, Oregon has awesome trails. Even without the whales. But on this day in late September we make the almost 5-mile hike out to the end of Cape Trail and our reward was seeing dozens of whales as they fed on baitfish. This is currently our most favorite hike ever. One may top it someday, but nothing has so far. What a hike!
