Mandarmoni is the nearest beach from kolkata. It about 170.2 km away via NH116B and NH16. You can drive your own car or take any available bus (usually depart from Esplanade). There are numbers of AC , Non AC, public and private buses plying from kolkata to Digha. You can book your bus by going to the Esplanade bus stand or from RED Bus app. It is recommended to book 2 by 2 seats for better comfort.

Start early in the day so that you can reach hotel by 12 O clock. Its better to book a hotel at the back side of Mandarmoni, so that you can a have a widespread vacant beach at your disposal.
You can play any game in the wide open along with some water sports still available on the beach.
Always look for a hotel that have seating are facing the beach and having beach chairs there. If you are going in the summer it is recommended to book a AC room. You can book hotels from any online hotel booking app.
