Let us start from the head and mouth downwards….
Largest single risk factor for premature death
Smokers are 2-4 times more likely to get heart disease than nonsmokers. Cigarette smoking doubles a person's risk for stroke.
Worldwide one billion individuals smoke.
In a year, more than 6 trillion cigarettes that are consumed by more than 1 billion smokers worldwide.

About 10 to 15 percent of smokers develop lung cancer — although they often die of other smoking-related causes like heart disease, stroke or emphysema.
People who smoke cigarettes are 15 to 30 times more likely to get lung cancer or die from lung cancer than people who do not smoke.
Addiction to nicotine.
Chippers or nondependent smokers, defined as smoking five or fewer cigarettes per day.
Low nicotine and e-Cigarettes……damage is more as more consumption….only tar not present or present in very low quantities…
Some say "We don’t inhale…or we are tobacco chewers" but it has been proved that they have more chances of …. lips, mouth and throat cancer…

Is it worth stopping smoking at 60?
YES ! It turns out there's a benefit to quitting even later in life. Research published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine finds that older adults who quit smoking in their 60s have a lower chance of dying in the years that followed than contemporaries who kept smoking.
One of the wealthiest industries globally – the tobacco sector – has seen dramatic growth in recent decades.
Even smoking has a huge role in damaging the environment.
