Students utilized Oculus Rift DK1, Kinect v1, PlayStation Move controllers, and two stereo 3D projection walls. Several student groups created asymmetric 2 player games that employed both the Oculus Rift and projection walls.

In many cases Kinect was used for animating the player avatar(s), and PS Move controllers provided positional tracking for Oculus Rift DK1.

Student projects seen in the video were created with RUIS for Unity in Aalto University's virtual reality course of spring 2014. Majority of students had no previous experience in virtual reality development. More info about RUIS at http://ruisystem.net

* One player helps another who controls a ball and its size

Lazerzilla
* Fight humans as a giant monster with a voice activated laser

Runner
* Two players compete against each other in this VR running game
