Hi friends!
Today I want to share with you a quick tip regarding the quality and quantity of your work.
QUALITY
To me quality means time, patience, thought, careful planning. This is what you do when you want to put a lot of effort and time into one piece of art.
Quantity
To me quantity is mainly speed, repetition and huge lack of self-judgment.
Bot quality and quantity require FOCUS and EFFORT.
QUANTITY OVER QUALITY
In the beginning, I would say that, in my opinion, it's important to place more importance on quantity.
This means you remove all judgment of your own work, and just focus on going through the creation process.
Don't get me wrong, quality is super important, unless it's crippling you and preventing you from feeling 100% free to create joyfully.
Placing quantity over quality will ensure you are creating a lot, and are gaining valuable experience.
Because don't forget - even when you don't like your results - you are still learning! You are still gaining experience.
Trust your brain, hands and all the rest of you to slowly learn and understand what works and what doesn't.
Gain that experience in 2 months rather than 6.
I hope this helps. I feel like this video has a very different vibe from my usual ones, so let me know what you thought of it (:
And I'll talk to you soon!
