Power BI - Do it Yourself Tutorial - Getting Started - DIY-1-of-50

In this video, we will get started in Power BI.
1- Download Power BI from the Power BI website, and install it.
2- Open Power BI
3- Click on Get Data, and then Select Excel Datasource
4- Load the PBI_DIY_BDCS_Sales.xlsx File

5- Verify the data, and click on Load.
6- Goto Page 1
7- Notice the Menu items, Get Data on the top of the page, Data, Relationships tab on the left and Visualizations, Fields Pane sections on the right.
8- Notice the Pages tab at the bottom of the screen.
9- Check the Channel Type and Sales_Amt from the Fields pane. Notice the values appearing on the reports area.
10- Change the visualizations using Visualizations pane.
11- Do the following Hands on excercises.

Hands on - DIY #1
1- Add a new page, from the bottom of the screen.
2- Select the Sales Type, Country and Sales_Amt from the Fields Pane.
3- Change the visualization to Column chart.

Hands on - DIY #2
1- Add a new sheet.
2- Click on the Department, Channel Type and Sales_Cost from the Fields Pane.
3- On the right side, click on select various visualizations.
