The Rio Olympics with Nikon Ambassador Joel Marklund
The Olympics don’t just attract the best athletes in the world, they also attract the best sports photographers. These photographers endure 20+ hour days, as they try to capture poignant moments at the most prestigious sporting event in the world. Nikon Ambassador and five-time Olympic photographer Joel Marklund reflects on how he got “That Shot” at the cross-country course at the Rio Olympics Equestrian Centre. For this exceptional image, he used his D5 and camera remote, allowing him to get closer to the action wirelessly.
This is the first of our “That Shot” film series. Check back on the last Friday of each month for a new episode.
