Part 1 Substrate, Sand, and Soil samples comparison
This is the first part of a visual comparison of several substrate materials that I have gathered while making decisions for some upcoming tank projects.
This is not endorsed by any of the manufacturers of the products that I am comparing. I was just happy to have the option to order things in small sample sizes though and figured that I could pass that along in the process.
I got my samples at https://www.substratesource.com in case anyone wants to order a bunch of their own.
Warning: I have never done this before so please forgive the rookie factor, shaking phone cam, stumbling over my words, etc. So many of you out there have helped and inspired me - I figured I would give this a try - maybe someone will find it helpful. Part 2 shows the sand and gravel substrates out of their packaging and Part 3 addresses the soil samples. Part 4 shows the sand and gravels when under some water.
Next goal : figure out how to splice bits of video to make one big continuous video. For now it is in parts. Thanks for watching!
