A small greenhouse operation can be a flexible solution for growers who are limited to smaller lot sizes.

If you live in an urban or suburban area, you know how hard it is to find the land for your farm operation.

The benefit of growing in a ZipGrow Vertical Greenhouse is the ability to grow abundant crop yields on smaller lot sizes.

These techniques are allowing small and first time farmers to participate in the food economy, often by serving their neighbors, restaurants and local retail outlets.

The ZipGrow system was designed specifically for low stature, high water weight crops. Spring salad mix, culinary herbs, and kale are just a few of the crops that perform exceptionally well within the ZipGrow system.

Crops like these grow out to be around 2’ tall but as a grower you pay to have your entire greenhouse space heated or cooled. Volumetric, or vertical farming, allows you to grow these crops on a vertical plane, one next to the other.

This helps you get the most veggies for every square foot of your growing floor.

In one ZipGrow Tower there are 8 plant sites. In a typical greenhouse setup you're going to have five towers per row and five rows per rack. One rack can hold up to 250 plants on a 50 ft2 footprint.

From planting to harvesting, ZipGrow will make the process of farming much simpler by allowing you to have a scalable, modular, controlled system. The equipment is combined with world class support and resources to get you up and running quickly and smoothly.
