Croatia is famous for its excellent sail & yacht locations. The best way to visit the Dalmatian Coast and Croatian coastline is probably on a cruise or sailing holiday. Travelling along the coast by boat can be as fast as the roads, but on a boat there is just open seas, cooling breeze and deckchairs to catch the sun. Often these boats will anchor up in some tiny, secluded bay for a swimming stop, many of which are totally inaccessible any other way.
