When originally introduced, electric cars sounded like a perfect vehicle for city commuting and urban riding: they came in small body sizes, had efficient batteries and electric motors powerful enough to cover most of city trips. But what if you want a vehicle that could both be used for carrying more passengers and covering longer distances on a single charge?
