How To Make a Quality Rubber Stamp Impression
• Stamping a wood handle stamp may seem simple, but using the proper technique will make sure you get a quality stamped impression.
• Make sure to tap your stamp on the ink pad several times to pick up a good amount of ink.
• Line up your stamp where you want to make your impression, and press down firmly with a slight rocking motion.
• For larger stamps, make sure to rock your stamp toward each of the four corners.
• Make sure to stamp on a hard, flat surface.
• If your surface is not level, or you do not apply the right amount of pressure, you may not be able to get a good impression.
• The ink pad should have the proper amount of ink on it. Having too little or too much ink will cause the impression to be illegible.
