Atelier Firis - How I Make 999 Quality Distilled Waters (The Trolled Way)
Slightly better method (no steps):

The traits I use:
-Trait Super Enhance alternatively or you *CAN'T* use "Well Made" (Quality 20%; EDIT: its a *TROLL* I re-tested it, don't use it for water, it doesn't carry) , or use "Quality ++" (Best/Most Quality 25%), etc. EDIT: I reccomend Quality ++, for harder items, but anything works:

-Super Quality
-Pro Perfection
Detailed Info:
This is how I made distilled waters in the game, the only difference from the guide is I use "Trait Super Enhance" instead of "Quality++" traits, just to show the process, and it works. Quality ++ can be better for just quality on some items, but yeah you don't gotta put them into waters since they are rarer if that makes sense, they are for Harmoniums/Crimson Stones/etc (so if you're killing Sophie I wouldn't worry about it). The waters can't carry the Well Made trait from my experience (I tried combining traits to get Well Made as a result and using the reactive catalyst you can buy with wellmade already made, consider it a troll), unless it's done a certain way, but it should be a troll (EDIT): Not entirely wrong it doesn't matter which trait, I listed the 2 best ways, I'll leave the troll up so nobody will have to test it again and can confirm, but it's ok, Quality ++ is the best the guide is correct, not well made or super trait enhance (it's just an example/alternative). I forgot Gust messed up the order on purpose probably, I got trolled finally, but that is the game I expect this lol. Maybe you guys will get it slightly faster than I did to 999 that way, but "Quality++" is the best way if you can get it before the Sophie Fight (I used trash for Sophie Easy on my first run, other than the imperfect purple blitz cores with bad, but ok-ish traits for that point in the game lol). The vid contains a cut merely to show where the water is not to really trick you, though I did cheat a little by using some high quality mats so the vid won't be too long, ya'll are very welcome :). However, most of my traits are from the west cave in the Weist Plain if you really care, but you can get the traits anywhere. I think that should break it down enough for ya'll, and the other two traits from the guides are actually important, you need "Pro Perfection" and "Super Quality" you can get both of these and Quality++/Anything ( but again "Quality++" is better) on any neutralizer color to transfer to your zettels, or do it on armor cloths if easier, I just chose green because it is a beginner item and most of the mats you'll farm are plants in this game (so green, but you can do red, blue, or whatever, but rainbow is for more complicated items). You're more likely to have the most of the traits on green mats anyway though overall, just use whichever as long as all the mats you use contains these 3 traits I listed above for the neutralizer/zettel. This isn't really even a glitch (only a troll if you attempt to get well made) in the game like in Atelier Sophie so you might actually be able to figure it out on your own as well, it is pretty fun to do imo. Also yeah, the clothes I'm using and the way that I'm adding the items to the grid (to cover the 4 triangular shapes near the corners of that grid, and the middle 5th triangle) is a requirement to make them if it wasn't obvious, use the steam guide for you're first run though, it says how to get the clothes. EDIT: Finally fact checked more/less.
