How To Manage Mac iCloud Storage

STEPS:

1. Navigate to 'iCloud' in your System Preferences
2. Click on 'Options' next to 'iCloud Drive' (on the right of where your details are)
3. Ensure 'Desktop and Documents Folder' is ticked, and that you have only ticked what apps you want to store information on such as 'messages' or 'pages'
4. Exit System Preferences and navigate to 'Users' via 'Computer' in the 'Go' tab on the Mac's home screen (finder)
5. Create all folders with bulky storage on this User folder
6. Make an 'Alias' of this folder by right clicking (or with two fingers clicking on the track pad) and selecting 'Make Alias'
7. Drag Alias to desired Desktop/Documents location
